BestRated is a discovery and verification platform that allows users to find, review, rate, and verify businesses and professionals in Nigeria and beyond. We also offer physical verification services for listed businesses to help build trust.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
To access certain features, you may need to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information.
BestRated reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading information.
You may submit reviews, ratings, comments, photos, and other content (“User Content”).
You agree that:
Your content is truthful, respectful, and based on genuine personal experience.
You will not post false, defamatory, or misleading statements.
You will not post content that infringes on third-party rights (e.g., intellectual property).
By submitting User Content, you grant BestRated a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.
BestRated may moderate, edit, or remove User Content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.
Businesses may apply for physical verification.
The “Verified” badge means BestRated has confirmed the physical existence and operation of the business at the time of verification.
Verification does not guarantee service quality, product performance, future operations, or compliance with applicable laws.
You agree not to:
Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews.
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
Interfere with or attempt to compromise the security or operation of the platform.
Scrape, harvest, or exploit BestRated data without prior written consent.
All trademarks, logos, software, text, graphics, and other materials on BestRated are owned by or licensed to BestRated.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
BestRated may contain links to third-party websites.
We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, products, or policies of third-party sites.
Your use of BestRated is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
BestRated provides its services “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of information on the platform.
Reviews reflect the opinions of users, not BestRated. We are not responsible for the truthfulness or accuracy of user-submitted content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
BestRated is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for using the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BestRated, its directors, employees, and affiliates against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
